Superb modern six lane 25 metre pool with on site and post event video analysis.
This workshops will be directed by TI Coaches Gill Kelly and James Ewart.
The swimmer to coach ratio for this workshop will be four to one ensuring you get the best individual attention.
This Effortless Endurance workshop takes place over a day with three pool sessions We have exclusive use of the pool for these sessions.
Do you want to swim a mile or more and feel invigorated and not drained at the end?
Do you want the swim to be the best leg of your triathlon?
Do you want to swim comfortably and confidently in open water?
The workshop includes expert instruction, individualised feedback and detailed video analysis. It is recommended for people who can swim at least 50m or more of crawl stroke or who have studied TI skills previously with DVDs, books or lessons. During the day you will develop your understanding of front crawl and the skills you need to acquire to become a more efficient swimmer.
Who will benefit from this workshop?
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
When swimming the best way to increase your endurance or speed is to reduce energy waste.
During the workshop you'll develop the three foundation skills of effortless swimming:
BALANCE AND STABILITY
Become weightless and relaxed in the water
STREAMLINING
Learn to push forwards through water by streamlining your body.
WHOLE BODY PROPULSION
Propel yourself forwards through the water using your core and channel energy forwards using natural weight shifts.
The Location
The pool is an excellent modern pool with good hot showers and classroom a two minute walk away.
Tea and coffee will be provided along with biscuits and cake but please bring your own packed lunch
N.B.
Bookings cancelled less than two weeks before this event can be transferred to future workshops only if the place can be filled by somebody else. All cancellations and transfers are subject to 15% admin fee.
